Pharmacy’s Wellness Center offers the latest technology in instrumentation to
provide health screenings for both a patient’s glucose level and a patient’s
hemoglobin A1c level. Both of these tests are independently important in
establishing an individual’s risk for diabetes, as well as monitoring their
progress to a prescribed drug therapy and lifestyle program.
CHOLESTEROL SCREENING
Screenings for cholesterol levels are an effective measurement for the
risks associated with heart disease. The procedure is quite simple. A drop of blood is taken from the finger and placed in a cassette. After a few minutes, the
instrument generates a report providing you with total cholesterol, HDL (good), LDL
(bad) and triglycerides.
